Today we are shining the spotlight on Walia Hospitality Group, which operates Cafe Bombay Indian Bistro and Masti Indian Street Eats in Atlanta, along with Ashiana Banquet Hall in Norcross. While Ashiana is closed to bookings at the moment, Cafe Bombay and Masti are still serving up their Indian specialties for take-out and delivery through your preferred food delivery app.
However, satisfying your cravings for Indian cuisine at home isn’t all they’re up to during the Coronavirus pandemic. Beginning this week and continuing for three weeks, Walia Hospitality Group has committed to serving 500 free meals per day every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, from 1pm – 3pm, in order to assist members of the community in need. The drive-thru meal pick up operation is taking place at Global Mall on Jimmy Carter Boulevard in Norcross.
We love hearing about how members of the local community are helping each other out during this chaotic time. We encourage you to support the restaurants that are working hard to assist others even at a time when their own business is unpredictable.
