Two major commercial real estate developments are being planned for Chamblee, as part of the first phase of the Chamblee Town Center project, which seeks to transform the downtown district with public spaces, parking and amenities, and a mix of commercial and residential developments.
Both projects are scheduled to be reviewed by Chamblee planners on November 18th and by the city council on December 10th. If approved, the developments would be a significant boon to the local economy, both by creating jobs and increasing foot traffic to local retail outlets and restaurants, and by enticing new residents to move into the area.
