Three Metro Atlanta Pizza Restaurants Make National List

Amber RandhawaWhat's Happening Around Atlanta

The Daily Meal recently released their list of the best 101 pizza restaurants in the United States, and 3 metro Atlanta pizzerias have appeared on the list.

You can read the complete article about these Atlanta pizza spots on AJC here, or you can head straight to the Daily Meal post here, and read about the entries from other cities as well.

O4W Pizza

In at #74 is O4W Pizza located in downtown Duluth. Fresh dough, sauce made in-house and hand-pulled mozzarella set the stage for such favorites as the Grandma Pie, a minimalist treat with fresh basil leaves and giant dollops of cheese.

O4W Pizza – 3117 Main Street, Duluth, GA 30096

Triple Jay’s Pizza

Triple Jay’s recently finished 2nd in AJC’s Best of Atlanta voting as a write-in nominee, and they are #55 in the nation on the Daily Meal list. The business is comprised of a brick and mortar restaurant in Midtown and a food truck, that has unfortunately had to remain idle for much of this year due to COVID. Luckily business is still good at the actual pizzeria, with pepperoni being the local favorite.

Triple Jay’s Pizza – 1020 Piedmont Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30309

Plant Based Pizzeria

What makes Plant Based Pizzeria unique? You guessed it – the restaurant is 100% plant based, including toppings like spicy Beyond sausage and vegan mozzarella cheese. While this might sound like sacrilege to some of the pizza aficionados out there, the restaurant led the Atlanta based entries to come in #52 on the Daily Meal list. That alone is enough to pique my curiosity!
