These outdoor ice skating rinks in Atlanta rival Rockefeller Center and they are much closer and easier to get to with all of the craziness that the Holidays bring. Grab your family, lace up your skates and get ready to go ice skating in Atlanta!

Skate at Atlantic Station:
If shopping and good food is on the list, along with ice skating, the outdoor ice skating rink at Skate at Atlantic Station might just be where you need to go! Open until February 15, 2015, Skate at Atlantic Station is open daily, including holidays and is $10 for children under 12 and $13 for all others, including skate rental. Discounts available for service members and seniors. Don’t forget to show your wristband to local businesses and receive discounts on your purchases.

Centennial Olympic Park
Want to avoid the shopping rush? Checkout the outdoor skating rink in Centennial Olympic Park. The rink is covered and skating runs through January 19, 2015. Pricing at the Centennial Olympic Park Ice Skating Rink is $13 for a 90-minute session, including skate rental. Discounts are available for college students and military members.

The Rink at Park Tavern
Piedmont Park is a year-round destination for most Atlantans and nestled at the Park’s edge, Park Tavern hosts their Ice Skating Rink each year. The rink is available for skating daily and is climate controlled. All-day skating is available at a price of $15 to $20. Be sure to check their website to ensure The Rink hasn’t been booked for a private event prior to heading out.

The Astor Holiday Rink at the St. Regis Atlanta
Known for it’s opulence in Atlanta, the Astor Holiday Rink at the St. Regis is no exception! Enjoy hot chocolate and s’mores as children and adults skate around their rink. Pricing is $30 per adult and $18 per child under 16 for 60 minutes of ice skating time. Reservations are recommended.

The Polar Rink at Lanier Islands
Located in the new Lanier Islands Christmas, the Polar Rink is open daily. Skating after 5pm with General Admission to the Lanier Islands Christmas is FREE. Ice Skate rental is also FREE.

Running through February 22, 2015, the Ice Rink is the perfect small town venue to practice your skating skills whether it’s figure skating, hockey or just trying to keep from falling. Pricing starts at $12 per adult and $10 for children. Family packages and skate pass packages are available.

Avalon Ice Skating Rink
Nestled in the mixed-use community of Avalon in Alpharetta, GA, the Plaza transforms to an Ice Skating Rink. The Rink runs through mid-February 2015 and is $16 for general admission, including skate rental. Season passes are available as well.
