Believe it or not, there are a few events happening around town this weekend, though they may look a little different than what you are used to due to social distancing measures that are being taken. If you are ready to get out and responsibly enjoy a little fresh air, here are a few events you can participate in outdoors and socially distanced.

Caffeine and Octane

Spend Sunday morning in the parking lot of Perimeter Mall and see over 2,000 cars, trucks and more. Filming for the Caffeine and Octane TV show will be taking place Sunday morning as well. The event is free to attend, and all attendees are encourage to wear a mask and maintain 6 feet of distance apart. Organizers are setting up sanitizing stations and all workers will be masked.

Chamblee City Parks Scavenger Hunt

Use the clues on the City of Chamblee Facebook page to find the special Chamblee Scavenger Hunt stone located in one of the city’s parks. When you find it, take a photo with the stone, post it and tag the city on Facebook or Instagram before putting the stone back where you found it.

From The Earth Brewing presents The Highbeams

Spend Saturday afternoon enjoying high-energy folk rock from The Highbeams at From The Earth Brewing’s Beer Garden by the River. Social distancing will be enforced throughout the show.

Marietta Square First Friday Art Walk

Enjoy the fresh air as you stroll around the Marietta Square this Friday evening! Balloons will be used to locate shops, galleries and restaurants that are hosting artists. Locations request that you wear your masks and practice social distancing – they will help by limiting the number of people inside at a time.
