Let Atlanta Know What You Think

Amber RandhawaWhat's Happening Around Atlanta

The City of Atlanta is asking residents what they think about the reopening of businesses and restaurants. In a survey posted on the #ATLStrong website, the city is asking citizens to let them know how comfortable they are with a variety of business types reopening to the public. Other questions include what safety measures citizens plan to take if they decide to patronize any of the businesses that have reopened. There is also open-ended space where Atlantans can give specific suggestions on what should be done differently as the economy reopens.

There has been no word yet on how, or if, the city will utilize the survey responses to make changes in the current course of reopening. However, we do know that Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms has not been in complete agreement with Governor Kemp’s strategy of allowing certain businesses to reopen. There are no doubt many Atlantans who are ready to get back to a sense of normalcy, while others will be continuing to shelter in place for now.
