A recent post on Buckhead.com indicates some major zoning changes may be coming to the City of Atlanta, and Buckhead in particular could be largely impacted. The current proposals are the outcome of 2 years of research and work by a Department of City Planning team, and seek to change the current zoning rules that many see as a holdover from a time when racist ideas fueled many of the rules and regulations in the city.
